Dr. Irfan Qureshi, N.D., earned his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Washington at Seattle. While at the University of Washington he completed an internship studying retroviruses at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, one of the world's leading medical research institutions. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science, he worked full time at the Fred Hutchison Cancer Center. His experience at the Center, led to employment at Immunex Corporation in Seattle, one the nation's leading publicly traded biopharmaceutical companies focusing on research and product development in the areas of immunity and chronic diseases. While at Immunex he worked on various phases of clinical and laboratory research. Irfan left Immunex to continue his education by pursuing a post-graduate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, one of the leading four-year post-graduate schools of naturopathic medicine in the United States. After earning his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.), he practiced naturopathic medicine in Singapore, where he became a noted health columnist for Singapore's Business Times .

After returning to the United States, Dr. Qureshi worked for Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy (PIP) as Lead Practitioner. PIP is a chain of pharmacies that developed an innovative program integrating the use of drugs and nutraceuticals as part of its integrated medicine program.

Born in the United States, Dr. Qureshi is fluent in four languages that are spoken in Asia and Europe. which contributes to AIBMR Life Sciences' ability to work with clients world-wide. (AIBMR's staff collectivley speak nine languages.)

Dr. Qureshi's focus at AIBMR is to assist clients in meeting regulatory compliance under various state and Federal laws and guidelines, and assisting clients and staff in technical and scientific matters in areas as diverse as analytical chemistry/characterization, pharmacokinetics, molecular biology, and clinical trials.
